Xiaoping He, MD, provides gastroenterology care at MercyOne Clive Gastroenterology Care.
I graduated from the Medical School of Nanjing University in China where I practiced medicine as a gastroenterologist for several years. In order to provide the best care for patients, I came to the US and completed my internship and residency in internal medicine at Florida Hospital Orlando (AdventHealth Orlando Medical Center) and fellowship training at the University of Iowa. I am also an active researcher and have authored or co-authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical
journals.
My specialties include acid reflux, dyspepsia, fatty liver disease, alcoholic hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and inflammatory bowel disease. I also perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, such as dilatation of esophageal stricture,
polypectomy, and endoscopic hemostasis.
